Personify Group has appointed Brian Novy, DDS, as Cariology and Preventive Dentistry Advisor.
According to the company, the role will focus on supporting initiatives related to preventive dentistry, disease management, oral-systemic health, and healthcare innovation. Dr. Novy will provide guidance on matters involving clinical practice, scientific evidence, patient outcomes, and commercialization.
Dr. Novy is recognized for his work in cariology, caries management, and preventive oral healthcare. He serves as president of the National CAMBRA Coalition and holds faculty appointments at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and other academic institutions. His previous service includes membership on the American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs and participation as a consumer representative on the US Food and Drug Administration’s Dental Products Panel.
Throughout his career, Dr. Novy has advocated for approaches to oral healthcare that emphasize disease prevention, risk assessment, and long-term health outcomes. His work has involved collaboration across academic, clinical, industry, and public health settings to support evidence-based strategies aimed at preserving tooth structure and improving patient health.
