Planet DDS has announced the expansion of its Launchpad Program, a structured initiative designed to support early-stage, multi-location dental groups as they scale operations. The program, entering its second year, includes new technology packages, revised pricing tiers, and continued access to cloud-based dental software and consulting services.
According to Planet DDS, the Launchpad Program provides a pathway for smaller dental groups—specifically those with two to nine locations and annual revenues between $2 million and $12 million—to implement scalable infrastructure at an early stage. The 2025 iteration introduces three curated bundles of technology services at different price points, allowing participating practices to match their investment with organizational goals and capacity.
Participating groups are eligible for up to 80% savings on the company’s practice management and imaging software in the first year. Planet DDS states that the discounted access is intended to reduce barriers to adopting enterprise-level technology, particularly for organizations transitioning from legacy or fragmented systems.
The program also includes onboarding assistance and ongoing consulting from dental industry professionals. The technology offered includes Denticon Practice Management software, revenue cycle management tools, analytics, patient communication capabilities, and Apteryx Cloud Imaging with integrated AI features.
“Launchpad supports the transition away from outdated, fragmented systems to a unified platform that enables smarter, faster decision-making,” the company stated.
“Giving emerging groups access to enterprise-ready technology and support—at this level of affordability—is truly a game changer,” said Dee Fischer, CEO of Fischer Professional Group. “For growing dental groups, building a strong operational foundation and scalable processes early on is critical. Launchpad equips them with tools to do so. I strongly encourage growing groups to take full advantage of this opportunity.”
Planet DDS CEO Eric Giesecke said, “With Launchpad, we're giving emerging dental groups affordable access to the technology solutions and resources they need to operate efficiently and focus on creating meaningful connections with patients while delivering superior care.”
Applications for the 2025 Launchpad cohort are now open to new customers. The program is limited to privately owned or founder-led dental groups. Practices supported by private equity or venture capital are not eligible.
